Last updated: 15 September 2026. This privacy policy applies to PhotoSwipe Cleaner for Android, package com.threeamfreak.photoswipecleaner. Contact: 3amfreak@gmail.com.
PhotoSwipe Cleaner is a local camera-roll cleaner. Core cleanup works on the device. The app requests photo and video access so it can list items already on the device, show thumbnails, classify obvious screenshots and screen recordings using on-device metadata, stage items you choose, and ask Android to delete or trash those items after you confirm.
PhotoSwipe Cleaner does not upload photo or video bytes to PhotoSwipe Cleaner-controlled servers. It does not sell photo contents. Original files are not copied into the app database. Cached metadata such as size, dates, category flags, and protected IDs stays in local app storage. Removing the app or clearing its storage may remove this cache.
Scanning, Camera Roll Score, exact-size duplicate grouping for Pro, and session statistics happen on the device. Exact duplicate confirmation hashes only size-collision candidates locally. V1 does not perform perceptual similar-photo, blur, or best-shot analysis.
Free users may see Google AdMob banner ads after their first completed cleanup, and only on Home, Progress, and Result. Ads are not shown on swipe, review, onboarding, permission, confirmation, or paywall screens. AdMob is a third-party SDK and may process a device advertising identifier according to Google's policies. PhotoSwipe Cleaner Pro removes ads.
Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Google Play. PhotoSwipe Cleaner does not collect payment card details. Product IDs in the app are pro_annual and pro_lifetime. There is no weekly plan.
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are not compiled into the current V1 build. If they are enabled later, events must remain aggregate product diagnostics and must not include photo or video bytes, thumbnails, filenames, URIs or file paths, photo hashes, MediaStore IDs, EXIF GPS or camera metadata, or album names.
The app uses Internet access for ads and Play Billing when those services are configured. It does not use MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE. Share actions are user-initiated and, in V1, share a statistics-only card with no photos.
This policy describes the frozen V1 product. Production AdMob, Play Billing products, and optional Firebase were not configured at the time these pages were published. Behavior of Google SDKs follows Google's own policies when those SDKs run.
Children's Privacy: PhotoSwipe Cleaner is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
User choices and rights: You can change Android permissions, limit ad personalization where Google provides that control, and choose not to use sharing, ads, or optional purchases. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights; contact us to ask about a request.
Retention and deletion: The app keeps its local cache and settings while the app or its storage remains installed. Clear app storage or uninstall to remove local data; Android, Google Play, or an ad provider may retain records under their own policies.
Third-party information: AdMob and Google Play/Google Payments follow Google's policies, including the Google AdMob Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) and Google Play Terms (https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/). Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are not compiled into current V1; if enabled later, see Google's Firebase privacy information (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy).
Changes to this Privacy Policy: We may update this policy when the app, services, or legal requirements change. The updated version will show a new date on this page.
